PSCF Future of Medicine Awards
Celebrating scholarships, research, and the next generation of physicians

Join the Physicians Society of Central Florida Foundation on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Harry P. Leu Gardens for an inspiring evening dedicated to honoring the future of medicine.

This signature event brings together physicians, students, educators, and community leaders to recognize excellence across every stage of the medical journey.

Resident Research Competition

Presentations from medical residents in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Sumter counties will be featured, highlighting innovative research and clinical case reports.  Finalists will be awarded cash prizes and receive professional recognition.

Medical Student Poster Competition 

Showcasing innovation and discovery from the next generation of physicians. Finalists will receive monetary awards and be celebrated for their achievements.

High School Scholarships 

The evening will also honor five exceptional high school students who have demonstrated extraordinary scholarship and a strong interest in medicine and science. These future leaders will receive the Dr. Luis Perez, Dr. Willie Newman, and Dr. Zabunnissa Vyas Scholarships.

Medical School Scholarships

PSCF will present scholarship checks to FSU, UCF, and OCOM, supporting the next generation of healthcare leaders.

Set against the backdrop of Orlando’s beautiful Harry P. Leu Gardens, the evening will celebrate achievement, encourage innovation, and highlight the vital importance of supporting future leaders in medicine.
