Interested in volunteering to serve local uninsured, low-income patients?

Do you want to be part of the solution to providing access to quality healthcare for this patient population?

All volunteer physicians are covered under Sovereign Immunity contracts provided by the State of Florida Department of Health.

Volunteer physicians of all specialties are needed and valued.

There are opportunities to volunteer at clinics throughout Central Florida based on what’s more convenient for you.

A small amount of your time could make a BIG impact.

Sign-up today to volunteer your time and the PSCF will help to connect you with one of our local partner clinics.

Shepherd’s Hope is Central Florida’s charitable medical care provider. It is our mission to provide compassionate medical care to the uninsured and under-insured. Shepherd’s Hope doctors and nurses treat uninsured, low-income patients in need of non-emergency medical care. The visit is free.

Currently their greatest health center need is for physicians, APRN’s and PA’s.

We Care of Lake County

Lake County's Leading Non-Profit Health Care Organization for the Uninsured
With assistance from local volunteer physicians and health care foundations, our non-profit organization is able to help more people maintain their mobility, independence, and dignity. If you’re looking for an organization that truly focuses on the well-being of patients, then please consider working with us.

We Care’s core is its volunteers. While donations to our medical equipment charity help us further our mission, we rely on volunteers to advance our cause. We utilize volunteers in many capacities; however, volunteer physicians and other health care providers who serve uninsured, low-income patients are the heart of our network.
