The Physicians Society of Central Florida (PSCF) proudly represents physicians throughout Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, and Sumter counties. As your regional medical society, we are dedicated to supporting physicians and advancing the practice of medicine to benefit both our members and the patients we serve.

Advocacy

PSCF is your voice in local, state, and national healthcare policy. We actively engage in grassroots advocacy, building strong relationships with local representatives to promote pro-physician and pro-patient legislation. In collaboration with the Florida Medical Association (FMA) and the American Medical Association (AMA), we send Central Florida physicians to Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., to advocate on behalf of our community.

Community Engagement

We believe in investing in the future of medicine. Through the PSCF Foundation, we provide scholarships for high school seniors and local medical students pursuing careers in medicine and the sciences. Our mentorship program connects experienced physicians with students, offering valuable guidance and support. The Foundation also hosts annual fundraisers that benefit local organizations and clinics, helping create a healthier Central Florida for all.

Education

PSCF helps members stay informed, compliant, and connected. We offer timely educational programs, webinars, and annual CME opportunities addressing evolving healthcare regulations and key issues impacting your practice. Each year, we host a Medical Student Poster Competition and a Resident Research Competition to recognize and celebrate innovation among future physicians.

Networking

Professional connection is at the heart of PSCF. We host a variety of networking and social events throughout the year, providing opportunities for members to reconnect, collaborate, and strengthen professional relationships within the Central Florida medical community.

Physician Wellness

Through the PSCF Foundation’s Physician Wellness Program, members receive access to confidential coaching and counseling services, with no electronic medical record created. PSCF members may receive up to four free sessions designed to support both personal and professional well-being.

Membership in the Physicians Society of Central Florida is available to legally registered allopathic (MD) and Osteopathic (DO) physicians residing or practicing in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Sumter Counties, who are in good moral and professional standing. Membership is also available to residents, fellows and medical students.
