2026 Florida Legislative Session

• Though the Florida Legislature still has work that must be completed before the next fiscal year, Friday, March 13th ended the 2026 regular Session.

Several key bills will not pass this year, though some could resurface in a potential special session.

They emphasize that the biggest takeaway is the number of significant bills that failed, many of which are likely to return in 2027 under new legislative leadership. Joe highlights the importance of the off-session period for relationship-building, encouraging physicians to connect with local legislators to strengthen advocacy efforts.
