The deadline for applications for the Florida Reimbursement Assistance for Medical Education (FRAME) Program has been extended until Monday, April 15. This program provides financial assistance to eligible physicians, residents, and healthcare practitioners for the repayment of medical education loans.
Qualified MDs and DOs specializing in primary care, including psychiatry, may be eligible to receive awards of up to $20,000 per year.
Due to the success of the FRAME Program last year, the FMA has secured increased funding for the current fiscal year, with funding rising to $16 million from $6.6 million in 2022.
