Benefits/Outcomes Realized with this Donation?
A donation from the PSCF Foundation would support Samaritan Village’s ongoing activities that create access to safe housing, mental health therapy, medical care, educational and vocational enrichment, spiritual development, legal advocacy, and case management for adult female survivors of sex trafficking. Our residential and administrative efforts require dedicated investment to meet new needs and secure the future of our mission. In 2023, we will acquire and open our third safe home. This means that, in just a couple of years, the number of residential beds at Samaritan Village will have nearly doubled, and with the support of PSCF and our network of partners Samaritan Village is committed to prioritizing Safe House Stewardship, Access to Therapeutic Services & Case Management, and Logistics & Technology Enhancement as we experience exponential growth and care for more survivors than ever. A safe place to live is just the beginning of a survivor’s journey to freedom and healing. Women who have been sexually trafficked arrive at Samaritan Village with complex histories of trauma. No two stories are the same, and each woman receives individualized care and case management. Our services address the needs of survivors in body, mind, and soul, including full medical care, addiction recovery, therapy and case management, vocational and educational training, community support, and more. Your financial support of Samaritan Village creates access to these essential services that these courageous women would not otherwise be able to afford. Human trafficking is the 3rd
largest crime industry in the world. Out of the 50 states, Florida ranks 3rd
in rate of human trafficking. Within the state, the Central Florida area ranks 3rd
behind Miami and Tampa. If you are a victim of human trafficking, please reach out to the National Human Trafficking Resource Center (NHTRC) by calling 1-888-373-7888 or text HELP to Befree (2333733). If you suspect human trafficking of any kind, please contact federal law enforcement at 1-866-DHS-2-ICE or submit a report online at www.ice.gov/tips.
